A healthy breakfast is certainly one way to get the day started right.  Even if short on time, a quick breakfast with this berry bowl will offer awesome nutrition: protein, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium just to name a few.

Berry Breakfast Bowl

Serves 1

  • 1-2 cups diced fruit – blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, nectarines, peaches, and/or bananas
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (or yogurt alternative)
  • 3 tablespoons nuts, seeds or granola – a favorite mix is almonds, walnuts, and pepitas

Combine all ingredients and enjoy. If making ahead, prep fruit in mason jar to store in the refrigerator until ready to use. Upon serving, add yogurt, nuts, and/or granola.
